Dec. 5 – 12 In Concert Audio will be providing sound and back line for a five day concert series to benefit Health and Hospitals Corp. of New York City. A concert in all five borrows with head liners like: Charanga Soleil, Don Byron, Anat Cohen, India, Frankie Negron, Temptations Revue, Garland Jeffries, Alan Cave, Omar Edwards, and many more. Party with Arcade44 a Success

In Concert Audio did a collaboration with website Arcade44 in honor of CMJ at The Bowery Hotel in NYC on October 21, 2010. The event was a complete success with a healthy turn out and a great sounding system. We used 8 EAW KF300 for the P.A. 4 in the front and 4 delayed about half way through the space (see photos below). For sub woofers we used 2 Yorkville double 10″. We chose the smaller subs over the single 18″ subs we use, because the space is a hotel and low frequencies are the majority of the noise complaints. Those subs were perfect and always surprise me with their efficiency. We used Audix OM-5’s for all vocals. We did a simple stage wash with 8 LED par cans, and 2 LED punches for back lighting on the wall behind the stage to add a little color. Just found this recording we did for the Whitney Museum in NYC. We supply the sound system for their Whitney Live events and do a simple live recording for each show. This show was with artist in residency at the time Theaster Gates and his band The Black Monks of Mississippi. Have a listen…
